"Don't cry," she said.

"Don't cry," she said to herself. "Don't cry."
Her heart is aching. Her chest is throbbing.
"Don't cry," she said to herself.
"Or your whole world will collapsed on you."

As she walked away from everything,
she forced herself not to turn back,
not to take a last look.
She wished she were anywhere but right there.

"Don't cry," she said to herself. "Don't cry."
Her eyes stings. Tears threatened to flood her cheeks.
"Don't cry," she said to herself.
"Or your whole world will collapsed on you."

One step forward.
And another.
And another.
But then...

Loosing her battle, out came a little sob.
"Don't cry!!!" she said to herself.
It's all but too late.
Her tears is like a summer rain.
The pressure on her chest got her choking and sobbing altogether.
 She wanted to tell herself again not to cry.
But her whole world collapsed the very second her sight turned dark.
